Day 1: Arrival and Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our driver/guide or representative. Travel through western Uganda, making a stop at the Equator for a quick snack and some memorable photos. Continue to Mbarara for lunch at either Agip Motel or Regency View Hotel. Afterward, head towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying an en-route game drive where you may spot Elephants, Buffalos, Uganda Kob, Water Buck, and Bush Buck. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at either Mweya Safari Lodge, Jacana Lodge, Ishasha Wilderness Camp (luxury options), or Mweya Hostels, Ntungwe River Camp (budget options). Meals: Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Half Board (H/B).

Day 2: Wildlife Exploration and Boat Cruise

Start your day with a dawn game drive lasting 2-3 hours, where you’ll have the chance to encounter the Big Five—lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Water Buck, and Bush Buck, among others. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a prime location for observing various mammals and reptiles. Enjoy views of birds such as pelicans and bee-eaters that frequent the channel’s banks. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Full Board (F/B).

Day 3: Chimp Trekking and Salt Mining Experience

Begin your day with an early morning coffee, followed by a briefing from UWA officials. Proceed to Kyambura Gorge for a half-day chimp trekking adventure. Be sure to bring raincoats, boots, earplugs, sunscreen, a hat, bottled water, and packed food. After trekking, return to the lodge to relax before setting out for an evening drive to Lake Katwe. Here, you’ll witness traditional salt mining and enjoy views of flamingos as the sun sets. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Full Board (F/B).

Day 4: Return to Entebbe

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Kampala. Have lunch en route and continue to Entebbe Airport for your flight home. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch. Accommodation: Half Board (H/B). End of services.
