Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe to Bwindi

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our guide or driver. Embark on a scenic drive southwest towards Bwindi, making a stop at the Equator for photos. Continue to Mbarara for lunch at Agip Motel or Regency View Hotel. Proceed to Bwindi National Park via Kabale. Bwindi is home to four gorilla sectors: Rushaga, Ruhija, Buhoma and Nkuringo. Your tracking experience will be organized based on the sector you booked.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi

Start your day with an early breakfast and prepare for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). Afterward, enter the jungle for a full day of gorilla tracking. Be sure to bring raincoats, sturdy boots (as the park is often wet), a cap, earplugs (if you’re sensitive to jungle noises), sunscreen, a bottle of water, and a packed lunch. If time permits, you can explore additional activities such as trail walks, cultural performances, community visits to traditional Bakiga homesteads and local banana brewing sites, as well as bird and butterfly watching. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
