Embark on a captivating safari through Rwanda, featuring city tours, wildlife encounters in Akagera and Volcanoes National Parks, and an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Day 1: Arrive at Kigali Airport and transfer to your hotel for a briefing. Enjoy a city tour, visiting the Gisozi Genocide Memorial, Kigali Museum, and the craft market. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 2: After breakfast, transfer to Akagera National Park. Check in at Akagera Game Lodge for lunch, then embark on an afternoon game drive along Lake Ihema, where you can see elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and crocodiles.

Day 3: Go on an early morning game drive to catch early risers and predators. Afterward, check out and drive to Volcanoes National Park, stopping for lunch along the way.

Day 4: After a morning briefing at the park headquarters, embark on a challenging gorilla trek, which may take 1 to 7 hours. Enjoy one hour with the gorillas, then return for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the scenic Twin Lakes, Burera and Ruhondo.

Day 5: Depart for Nyungwe Forest National Park with a 6-hour drive. Check in at your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy an optional canopy walk or relax at the lodge.

Day 6: Trek through Nyungwe Forest to see various primate species, including chimpanzees and over 300 bird species. Return to your lodge, check out, and drive to Bukavu, checking in at Orchid Safari Hotel.

Day 7: In the early morning, drive to Kahuzi Biega National Park for an adventure tracking lowland gorillas. The trek will take 2 to 4 hours. Afterward, return to Cyangugu for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: After breakfast, drive back to Kigali, stopping en route to visit Butare and Nyanza, including the King’s Palace and an art museum. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
