Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer to Your Hotel
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel, where you will receive a briefing about your tour.
Day 2: Transfer from Nairobi to Treetops/The Ark
After breakfast, drive to Treetops or The Ark, passing through the lush Kikuyu farmlands to the Aberdare region. Check in, enjoy lunch, and later transfer to the tree hotel for evening game viewing at the floodlit waterholes.
Day 3: Nyeri to Samburu/Buffalo Springs
After breakfast, check out and drive to Samburu Game Reserve, arriving in time for a late lunch. This reserve is unique for its mix of northern and southern species, including Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, and the Somali ostrich.
Days 4 and 5: Samburu/Buffalo Springs
Spend these two days enjoying game drives in the sprawling reserve. Take an afternoon canoe ride on the Ewaso Ngiro River to see various species along the riverbanks. All meals are provided at Samburu Serena Lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Mt. Kenya
After breakfast, return to Nairobi and enjoy lunch at the renowned Mt. Kenya Safari Club.
Day 7: Nairobi City Tour and Departure
Spend the day touring Nairobi, visiting the National Museum, City Market, and Nature Trail. Enjoy lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
